Making Happy Memories for Children!
Hi, I'm Jerry Hornak and I've been using
magic to bring fun and laughter to children since 1980. That means I really know what kids like, from toddlers to teens!

One thing to consider... I've been entertaining children and their families, full-time, since 1989. This is what I do for a full-time living and the vast majority of my work is from people who have seen me in action making children happy and liked what they saw.
It shows that I'm doing things right and I'm very grateful to have found a true calling in making children smile.
- Shows that are fun for all! -
The programs I present are my own colorful blends of
Magic, Comedy, and Audience Participation. I use a lot of
helpers from the audience and the fun starts even as I'm setting up! Keep a camera handy, you'll record some wonderful memories.
As a special bonus, I always have a magic trick give-away (or two!) for all the children at the end of the show. It's just a little something extra that brings another smile!

- Birthdays they'll remember! -
I customize each show to fit the age spread of
the group (and what they like at each age is different!)
At
Birthday Parties, I've found that 3, 4, and 5-year-olds like a very
silly show! The 6, 7, and 8-year-olds appreciate the fun magic
we do, while 8 and 9-year-olds (and up!) can enjoy learning the secrets of magic at
my hands-on Magic Workshops!
And I even have something special for teen birthday parties!
While I have mixed feelings about hearing this (How time flies!) I'm now running into young adults in college and new parents who remember me, as well as specific tricks that I did, at their own parties years ago.
When I say they'll always remember, I truly mean it.

For large groups at School Fundraisers, Company Picnics, and Public Events, I put together a family show for all ages.
Since everyone seems to want to help the magician (fancy that!) I get some
of our youngest friends up to assist me first, then some of the oldest
children for our next experiment.
After that, I pick my helpers
from the ages in between. This way, everyone feels
represented on stage and, thus, all part of the show!

me!

While last-minute calls are always worth trying, I'm
usually booking dates six to eight weeks ahead for birthday parties
(even longer for holiday shows and special events.) It's a lot easier to discuss fees (they vary depending on the program and travel) and open dates by phone, so give me a call at 860-868-2542. I'll get right back to you! Thanks!
